The host was extremely accommodating and flexible, as flight troubles got us in a day later than expected. The apartment was small, but comfortable.

Appartement superbement situé entre place St Pierre et Château St Ange, dans une rue piétonne pas trop bruyante. Calme, car en plus l'appartement est situé à l'arrière de l'immeuble . Une sympathique terrasse commune permet aux fumeurs de ne pas sortir dans la rue.
La salle de bains (douche) et la cuisine sont petites mais nous ont suffi (nous étions 2: une chambre chacune). Les chambres sont grandes.
Nous avons trouvé l'appartement très propre. Si je reviens à Rome je relogerai là si c'est possible.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment on Borgo Pio. The
location was perfect, the apartment was small but clean, the owners pleasant. The street lovely, good terrace restaurants, grocery shops, wonderful gelato.
We'll be back!

Great place, great location, great price.
I spent in Rome the best time in my life. Sleeping in that apartament gave great opportunity to be very near San Peter squere and also to other Rome's attraction.
I very much reccmmend this place.
For me, sure, I'll be back there.

We were in App.from. 03/01/11-08/01/11.
Positive observations: Position of app. is excellent, it is clean. Bed linen was clean and beds comfortable for sleeping. Heating was ok - using electric heaters. We were not cold. Owner of the app. was very polite and friendly. There is Tv, ffridge and stove.
Objections: the kitchen has no hot water in the sink, and not enough pots for cooking. The bathroom is awful close (narrow) so that two skinny people can barely pass. The curtain on the tub is barely moving.
Conclusion: The quality / price ratio is completely satisfied.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms but only a small living room. Only 2 of us stayed there. I believe that if four people were there it would have been quite cramped in that small room.
The bathroom is very long and narrow due to the design of the building - getting past the bath tub needed us to walk sideways!
The kitchen had a full size cooker with an oven (which we didn't use) and a washing machine, which was very convenient.
The location is perfect for us (but would have preferred it to be less than 2 flights of stairs up :-). Borgo Pio is a marvelous location - about 5 minutes from St. Peter's Square, many restaurants available right in the street, across the road from a food store and a green grocers, an Internet Cafe at the bottom of the street, and a number of religious souvenir shops there too.
The apartment was very clean (although the very old tile floors show their age).
We were satisfied that we received our money's worth.

I can report that it was the perfect accomodation for my family. We were in Rome first time, and this apartment was great for us. It is very close to the Basilica di San Pietro, and to the underground station, so we could reach everything rapidly and easily. The landlord was so helpful, not to mention, that we arrived in Rome at 1:00 a.m and he was waiting for us. My sister and cousins are allergetic to gluteine and that's why the kitchen in the apartment was so much help for us. If I ever return to Rome, I will have this accomodation again! We just spent 4 days there and I have to give a mixed review.
Plus: Excellent location; spacious rooms; fans provided; washing machine. Kitchen and bathroom very small but sufficient for our needs.
Minus: It was not clean. The mat in the bathroom was very dirty, and the floor in at least one of the rooms was too (when I mopped up some water that we spilled I was shocked to see that the cloth I used was black!).
I would not recommend this house during hot weather. There is no traffic noise, and the windows are good, but if you need to leave the windows open to get air, you are assaulted by the smell from the all-night bakery downstairs and the booming sounds from the machinery and the air-conditioning from all of the nearby buildings. We had great difficulty sleeping.

The apartment is situated in the best part of Rome and of Vatican, the zone is absolutely gorgeous, great spot...the bathroom and the kitchen are kinda small, but that's not a problem if you are keen on sightseeing...there's no pretty view on the window, but the rooms are large enough and cozy...the landlord is nice and gave us useful advice on sightseeing...and again, the area is great!

Nuestra estancia en Roma ha sido muy grata, queríamos agradecerles la atención prestada en todo momento, en especial a Davidde Ricci que fue quien nos recibió, nos tranquilizó y nos planteó opciones para los días que pasamos allí, los apartamentos son encantadores, son 35 metros acogedores, prácticos limpios y cómodos. Están a conco minutos del Vaticano con lo cual los paseos son muy agradables, se podría decir que está muy bien comunicado, pero nosotros todos los recorridos los hicimos caminando.
Ha sido un placer y no dudaremos en volver a contratar sus servicios.
