80 sqm apartment located in a building dating back to the 17th century in the heart of the historical center, in Vicolo del Giglio, a characteristic little street between the wonderful Piazza Farnese, site of the majestic French Embassy, and the lively and multi ethnic Campo de’ Fiori, usual meeting point for tourists and locals.
It has an independent entrance, with a suggestive staircase leading directly into the wide living room. With intact original wood beam ceilings, furnished with a wooden dining table with matching chairs and a romantic 17th century marble fireplace, this apartment truly gives one a feel for the Rome of centuries past and brings history to life.
It has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and the other one with french size bed; one bathroom with shower, sink and wc; a living room with 2 double sofa beds, table and chairs; a kitchen equipped with gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, washing machine, toaster, kettle, cupboards and utensils.
At guests disposal there are also: independent heating, cable TV ( Sky), plasma TV, dvd player, internet ADSL, air conditioning, dish washer, stereo hi-fi.
The apartment can host up to 8 people.

A farmers' market is held in Campo de' Fiori 6 days a week until between 1 and 2 pm. The piazza comes alive with bars, clubs and a vibrant social scene.
Almost anything the historic center has to offer can be reached within a 20 minute walk, but no worries, the area is well served by buses for those who prefer to take it easy.

The apartment has a superb location, situated next to the lively Campo de' Fiori, a square which hosts a market and lots of restaurants. It is within walking distance of most of the major sights. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. The living area was spacious. Despite high temperatures outside, the apartment remained cool, even without having the air conditioning on. All in all, it was a very pleasant apartment and well suited to families.
