A furnished mini – apartment, in the heart of Rome, at Via Giulia. It has a very romantic atmosphere, comfortable and quiet, a recently renovated apartment made up of valuable building materials; the wooden ceiling and the old arch-brick have been perfectly restored.

The apartment has an air conditioned double bedroom (wardrobe, linen-closet, bedding, television-set, dining-table), a separate kitchen (refrigerator, cooker, kitchen accessories) and a bathroom (shower, hair-dryer).

The flat is on the ground floor facing a characteristic courtyard. The peculiarity of via Giulia is to be a quiet neighborhood eventhough it is located at the center of the city. Next to the apartment is the colourful market of Campo de’ Fiori or the old area of Trastevere.

In five to ten minute walk you can reach all the most interesting monuments: Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Fori Imperiali, San Pietro, Piazza di Spagna, Ghetto, Castel Sant’Angelo, Colosseo etc. Electric bus (tram) makes it well connected with the whole historical center.

Via Giulia is one thousand metres long and it is considered one of the oldest street of Rome as Pope Giulio II deeply wanted it to be built more than five hundred years ago; no doubt it is one of the most charming and refined streets of the city. The road parallels the river Tevere and from Ponte Sisto up to Chiesa dei Fiorentini.

Walking down Via Giulia (crossed by twenty-seven lanes!), you can visit eight churches and two beautiful fountains. Each corner or old mansion has an unbelievable story. You can stop at the corner between Via Giulia and Via dei Cimatori: here Raffaello bought a building area where (just before his death in 1520) he began to get his new house and work shop built.

If you like, you can sit and relax on the "sofas in via Giulia" just across your apartment. These sofas are the remains of the foundations of the Court of Justice made by Bramante upon request of Papa Giulio II.

This apartment is nice, clean, quiet, intimate, comfortable and very well located. Special to the room under the floor of a small "museum" can be seen. The owner is correct and helpful. We will be staying here next time.

Excellent location (short walks to Navona, Vatican, Trastevere, Campo dei Fiori, very well serviced bus stop a few minutes away with direct buses to Piazza Venezia and Termini). Cozy apartment, helpful owner. Own kitchenette for those who are interested in low-cost stay, grocery store nearby. Of the places in Rome I have stayed, this one was definitely the best.
